6200 - 8000rpm......... 13.1

I am very happy with it now. Would like to leave it as is. I am running 7psi.
Should I keep adjusting AFR till 12.5 or keep it at 13.1?
This is what mine does...
2K-6K...11s
6K-6200: 13.5
6200-8700: 11.5
8700+: 10.8

I need to adjust it somewhat to get the top end a little higher, as I'm losing power there, but my vacuum tank got chewed up so I'm driving around with a CEL till I get that from Majestic.

I think high 12s is just too lean IMO.

When it gets cooler out or you run it at night, it could go above that.

That 13.1 won't change no matter how low I go. I am about to drop it all the way. It's weird, other rpm range changes but not vtec

Bottomed out and now it's 13.8. Sigh

EDIT: So full bottom it seemed to run weird and sloppy not to mention AFR up top was 13.8. I backed off 1.25 of a turn back up and AFR is back down to 13.1 bit. So weird. Seems to be running strong but I am concerned at this point.

Step colder plugs and boost gauge will he going in next weekend.

Change out those plugs. That might help. Do you have an aftercooler?

Yep, aftercooler in. Running fine. Need to borrow friends gauge and watch my IAT for a bit.

I monitored my IATs via Torque on my Android phone via bluetooth OBD2 scanner. The reason I got it was to read codes, but it has some monitoring built in, too.

I am in the low 50C range when moving, but it can creep up over 70C (158F) sitting with the motor running.

After some research I came up with the following... Since I cant go below 13.1 AFR in the top end I should check the following...

1) Check Voltage on the Fuel Pump
2) Buy a fuel pressure gauge and check fuel pressure.

Anything ales? My WALBRO pump makes bunch if whine noises and primes really loud. But people say it's normal.

^yea normal for the pump to whine, especially when it warms up.

What psi are you running? Verified?

Is this on a ap1 or ap2?

Do you have any exhaust mods? Testpipe maybe?
