Right? Maybe my AFR gauge is off... O how I wish Hmm

Edit: drove back from PF changs, 14.7 AFR every gear every pull. This is sketchy.

Dude something just occurred to me, if I remember correctly the default or (non reading signal reads 14.7) Could it be that your losing 02 signal? Maybe a loose connection in your wideband.

Exactly what I was thinking. I wonder if there is a way for resetting them or testing it somehow. Just emailed ProSport too asking if they have any suggestions.

UPDATE!

11.9 AFR > 13.1 AFR Spike > 12.4 AFR all the way to 8000rpm

4 Turns left in the FPR. New Fuel pump is quiet but not silent. Once the tray is in it'll sound stock.

All I did is what Prosport rep suggested. Reset the unit by turning the key to ON position and holding reset button for 3-4 seconds until you see the unit recalibrate it self. BAM

BTW My gas mileage blows... I should stay off that gas pedal.

Cool! So it was the wideband? New fuel pump make a difference? Also seems like you have more adjustment left with the fpr.

Seems like you have a better ratio before vtec. I'm at low 11 pre vtec. Maybe it's the ap2 specific regulator?

Yeah looks like a wideband issue. I'm really happy with the new fuel pump too and I'm sure it made a difference up top. Still don't know if my FPR is AP1 or not but my AFR is holding well so far.

BTW do I really need to do spark plugs? I have the ones step colder, is it really worth it, seems to run just fine with my current iradiums.

Good to hear EOE. Yes the wideband F-ing up made more sense to me after hearing what you were experiencing. Your afr is really good now

8's/ one step colder is what you want. I run the 2668's

2668s... exactly what I have right in front of me. I'll install them next weekend.

BTW I installed the K&N filter in to the CT Airbox. This K&N came out of my stock airbox. It feels like I lost some power! My only educated guess to why that is.... the stock Comptech filter uses Velocity stack design that is separated from the foam filter and re-used with the new one. The K&N filter does not use such design.

The Foam that it came with was literally falling apart so when I took it off I just trashed it. Should I replace this K&N with the CT Engineering's NEW foam filter and start using the velocity stack adapter to gain the power? Or do these not filter as well?

http://www.ct-engine...roduct1563.html

OR K&N RT-1048 That will re-use the Velocity Stack.

OR APEXi 500-A024 which has 140mm (5.5") inlet as well... Not sure if it'll be as plug and play as the ones above...
Edit: Never mind no Apexi filter will work with the Velocity stack.

or AFE
20-91030

So basically at this point I need to find a filter that has a 5.5" or 140mm "Filter Inlet" size and Length that shouldn't be more than 7". AEM nor APEXi carry such sizing. I'll keep looking.

This is the filter then several of us use to replace the stock CT foam filter. The foam filters flow better then anything, but they also don't filter very well, so the next best option is a cotton washable filter like KN or AFE. I thought I noticed a slight power loss when i switched to the AFE, but who knows. I have piece of mind that I have proper filtration now.

^^^ I'm not sure if this one has the correct size opening or not. You need to research before ordering if you do.

The one I posted is 5" long, the one you suggested is 6" long. I guess it doesn't really matter at this point which one I get. Maybe 5" is better so the filter isnt crammed in the box? If that even matters.
