not the best pictures, but i ran my intake into the bumper from the turbo compressor. I dropped IAT's by 20 degrees on hot days and within 5 degrees of ambient. I also cut out the passenger side faux fog light and the air filter received fresh air.

most likely 20C since you're in the UK? That's a good temp drop

 

Got the intercooler pipes in yesterday. Will be working on this Sunday and will post pics. Hopefully dont run into any issues.

20F! That coupled with re-routing the coolant lines through the IACV and TB and I dropped temperatures a median of about 30F.

 

Ill try to do a little write up and post it when I'm done. Hoping for some lower temps.

 

Ok guys, need some help or advice. I attempted to do this on sunday and was successful in getting a cold air intake on a inline pro stage 1 setup. My only issue is that I had to cut a huge portion of the fender liner in which I probably now need to order another one..lol..

That pipe going throught he headlight area for the intercooler really messes things up with space. I did drive like that for 2 days, with the cai, and I saw my a/f changing a bit, more to the lean side. So i know it was maknig a difference in regards to temps. My concern of having it the way I do is mainly water. I wasnt able to angle it up like others have done with other kits plus you see the folder from my faux vent which in a clear day is great, but if its raining its probably not the best thing.

So for now I just moved the filter from the engine and put a pipe i had behind the top part of the rad on the drivers side. For now I'm going to run like this until I find another solution, if any, to get this to work right.

 

We'd enjoy pics... It took me a while to find a way around the Greddy charge piping too.

My next step might be to cut out the horizontal painted surface above the faux vent. That gets air into that space, but leaves the faux vent intact so that it looks stock unless you're laying on the ground. It also raises the height of the opening. After that I'll probably bolt up a deflection plate to direct the air from the new opening toward the side of that space, thus keeping water from splashing directly onto the filter when it comes in. I'm still debating whether to do this.
