Talking about a T-61. But I also have the option to go with a t3/t4. I just wonder how much more power the T-61 would put down.

Let me put this in perspective... Most single turbo Supras run a smaller turbo. Your boost curve and power delivery would suck horribly a lot like a S/C . A T3/T4 is the way to go on high HP small displacement engines IMO. Something like an SC/50/32/34/44 would probably more than meet your needs. All are capable of 400+ WHP.

I would run a smaller turbo with lower boost levels... you'll be sacrificing spool time with the larger... and unless your looking to be running 10+psi, I wouldn't want to...

Even with ball bearing turbo and doesn't the size of internals of turbo like fins, and ect... matter on spool time?
At any rate, I would set your Hp goals and go with the smallest turbo that will stay in it's efficincy range for your goals. Wouldn't you rather be spooling a grand sooner and save some bucks in the process?

so is a T-61 bigger than a 60-1 then? I am running an extrude honed 60-1 (manifold is extrude honed as well) , hits 8psi around 5500rpm. I don't know much about turbo's themselves, can't read compressor maps or any of that nonsense, so I'm curious
