Anyone make their own Ethanol or E100?
I live in Wichita, KS and I run E85 in my boosted S2000. While there are a few E85 stations around, availability is limited. But, the biggest pain in my butt is the percentage of ethanol in the E85 varies wildly depending on season and station. To combat this issue I am having an AEM Series 2 with a Haltech Flex Fuel setup installed. But, I'm thinking of trying to make my own E100. Does anyone have any experience making their own ethanol? If so what setup do you have? How long does it take for you to process your starch to fuel quality ethanol?

im all for bill nye the science guy shit, but if it's over 50* constantly and not dropping below 40* it is probably E85. They mix the gas at the pump, if they wanted to they could keep it E85 all the time. they sell E98 . I don't know how well a 100% ethanol car is going to start or run for every day use.

Making ethanol is a huge pain and rather expensive. Its only worthwhile as moonshine, otherwise stick with E85 at the pump. It does vary, but the ethanol content gives you a large tuning window so you shouldnt have any issues.
