Anyone know if this nitrous kit is decent?

Don't use a VAFC to tune nitrous.
1. Its not accurate enough.
2. It'll mess with your cam angle sensor when you add/subtract fuel which in return advances your timing. You don't want to advance your timing with nitrous.

How is tapping fuel from the fuel line any different for direct port than a plain jane wet shot? It isn't lol. Just with a distribution block. I wouldn't tap the fuel rail, but thats just me.
So much bad advice in this thread...

fyi: VAFC would only advance your timing if you are subtracting fuel. it retards the timing when you are increasing your fuel settings.

You will have less problems w/ a dry kit if you are new to nitrous. Main problem is that you can seriously lean the engine out. Detonation kills more engines w/ dry kits..
...if u are only going 50 shot then u can do fine with the dry. Usually once you get use to nitrous you will want to add some more power so the wet system will enable more room to grow.
you have a lot of good advice from folks on here..continue to do your research and take it slow. The car reacts nicely to nitrous (properly installed and tuned). I have sprayed closed to 120 on a stock motor many many time in the past. I don't remember what times it ran at the track but it felt great.
Nitrous has a lot of parameters as well so be informed...

Ok so people have been telling me that with the 50 dry shot I would not need to tune anything??
Is running a 50 shot dry safe for the most part? Not worth it to me if I blow the engine. Just through my readings it was looking like a 50 shot dry would be an easy and safe way to get a little nitrous.
Anyone know anything about the kit I linked on the first post? I can get that kit for $250 shipped complete but used.

FYI: VAFCs are not accurate enough to do good tuning. It could advance timing for a second when you wanted it to subtract. Hello detonation
WHen adding fuel (+1 or higher) you are saying that it can either advance or retard the timing. If you are unsure, please see earlier statement
You are right, alot of of bad advices on this thread.
The vafc is not aem or what not, but it can get the job done if you know what you are doing, and if you know how it works.

ps +1 on the dry kit for small shots. My friend has had his 65 shot zex on his s2k for a while now, still runs like a champ (no additional parts purchased but the kit itself, plus the plugs). Don't abuse it and you'll be fine.
