Anyone know if this nitrous kit is decent?
Looking at going with a 50 dry shot of nitrous for my S2000.
How does this kit look? Nitrous.
Would I need anything else to go along with this kit? Could I tune it with a vafc that I already have? Or would a 50 shot need to be tuned?
If properly tuned should a 50 dry shot be safe? Also if properly tuned does it hurt engine life? Just looking for a little more umph once in a while.

I don't know many that did that.
I'd do a full NX kit. I ran the WET EFI kit for 3 months, made additional 70~ Whp in mine with a zex tmps wot switch.
Wet kit is MUCH safer than a dry kit.
I have 2 extra 10lb polished bottles as well if you're interested.

So is a clutch needed when going with nitrous usually? Would my stock one slip with a 50 or 70 shot?
Does a wet kit have to be direct port? Or can it just mix with the fuel rail or however it works?
Also how did the nitrous feel? Never driven a nitrous car? How many pulls could you get with a 10lb bottle? Does the power feel smooth? Feel much faster?

whoa with the questions...haha.
SEARCH is your friend.
1. no DOES not have to be direct port = expensive
2. the wet kit and your jets determines your shot = HP.
3. there is nothing on the fuel rail, only for direct port.
4. nitrous is similar to a turbo feel, but it does not last as long
5. i've had nitrous on my last 2 cars.
6. your runs depends on your shot and bottle size. 1 10lb bottle i could do about 10 passes down the 1/4
7. it feel hella faster, like vtec on crack.

haha sorry bout all the questions. Complete noob when it comes to nitrous. Always just done the turbo thing on other cars.
This a decent kit then? Zex S2000 nitrous wet kit.
So tuning with a vafc will work with a wet kit ok though? Or would I need something like EMS to be safe?

With wet you have pooling problems at lower revs, the initial lean spike, and worse unequal distribution due to fuel not being able to atomize very well since its a liquid, not a gas like nitrous.
Now tell me again what is safer? What has more junk to go wrong?
(Sorry if Im coming off as a jerk, but provide some vids of cars blowing up with dry kits. Only one I can think of is Robert56 in his C5 vette where he added 6 degrees timing when he meant to pull 6 degrees for his 250shot. I can give you 100 vids of wet kits blowing engines for every 1 dry.)

1. Its not accurate enough.
2. It'll mess with your cam angle sensor when you add/subtract fuel which in return advances your timing. You don't want to advance your timing with nitrous.
Also, don't go bigger than a .038 jet without tuning. Trust me. My timing mark is on the thread which is bad and thats the jet Im running. If you're running a true 75-80whp shot, you'll have alot of detonation. The .038 jet is about 75 crank hp.

So much bad advice in this thread...
