Another Quick Dyno pull
Well after I posted my first initial dyno runs earlier this year there were a few skeptics in regards to the numbers I made.
I had the opportunity to run on a dyno jet this past weekend, as opposed to the dyno-pak my car was tuned on previously.
I made 430whp on 12lbs in 3rd gear reving to 7500.
If you recall, I made 509 on 15lbs, so if I make 15whp per lb, which is on par for what it should be doing, thats another 45whp, which bumps me to 475whp. That coupled w/the fact I wasn't reving to 8500 should gain me a few more ponies so all in all it would be pretty realistic.
I was also in Columbus a few weeks ago, and saw a stock AP1 put down 200whp exactly on that dyno-pak, which is about 5whp high from what I'd think it should do.
Anyway I had it on the race setting, but for some reason, it wouldn't hold boost past 12lbs.
So, I am working on that for the moment.
I did a 3rd gear pull, which was over in a split second...if I would have known, I would have done 4th gear, just wasn't thinking. Anyway, I had a few friends tell me they thought the car was spinning, b/c it doesn't rev that fast on the street, lol.
Anyway, here is the video.
Short and sweet, enjoy.
Discuss.

475 is pretty stout. 430 @ 12psi is no joke either. was hp leveling off or still climbing? third gear disappeared. i ussually dyno in 4th or 5th. no matter what gear you use its ussually around the same hp give or take a perecnt. do you have the dyno pics?

I just wanted to show that 500whp is attainable on a 3076r @ or around 15psi.
I just wish I didn't have a boost leak, I was po'd when I saw it wasn't hitting full boost.
I am borrowing a mechanical boost gauge this weekend to verify my aem gauge cal's are correct before I start checking everything over.

well when you get everything dialed in def go back and get a clean 4th or 5th gear pull. good luck with the troubleshooting, i hate chasing deamons mine was the flippin idle jumping. what a nightmare that was.

i missed this thread....good numbers. at 10psi on my ELT, 3076R I made 390whp/ 270 ft/lb revving to 8500 or so. My coils are going out on me, but looks like AP1 and AP2 would make about the same on 12psi. If I did a 12psi run Im sure I would be around 415-430whp. Good stuff!

Also, from 8000-8500 you have a declining torque curve....from your last dyno. to make 430whp you need around 280ft/lb or so. I dont see you around 350ft/lb with 3 more psi....and your peak on your old dyno was around 6500-7000 for peak torque and then it slowly drops. Lets face it, slowmotions dyno reads low. I raced an STI that made 512awhp/ 452 awtq on a 4088r on slowmotions dyno. I was on 11psi @ 402whp and beat him to 120 every time...how does that happen? I would say the STI's #'s were off. Not trying to be an ass, just stating what I have learned in the last month or so.
