With FI, I wouldn't run over 13.5, Of course I have no idea how lean for how long is required to pop the engine, but if I was running over 13.5 I would call my tuner asap and tell him to fix it. Just my $.02

It's too hard to say without knowing all the facts. What is the actual AF, what is the timing, are you getting detination? If you are only running lean for the last 1000 rpm you'll be ok, but if you are running lean from 2000rpm all the way to redline you'll have a problem. I highly recommend not running the car hard if it is running lean. Sorry man, I know you want to hear "ya it'll be ok" but I can't say that

It's too lean whenever you start knocking. And that's an over-generalization.

I wouldn't run any leaner than 12.0

At 10psi I'm even more conservative... running 10's-11's.

shit man. its at 13.96 at 7,900 and then drops a bit. I just have a race set up tonight for some cash that i would love to run but won't if there is a chance i'll blow my motor. Except for the dyno runs i haven't even taken it up past 6k so i'm being really carefull and everthing runs fine and idles great.

Was looking for info on someone with past experience at running lean and their outcome.

Your lean on the 7lb pulley correct? You weren't lean straight out of the box were you on the 5.5lb pulley?

I don't believe so. Just the thing is that the 2.2 motor came with the same injectors but needs more fuel to run so it maxes out easier. RC 550's should be installed thursday so we will see how it does.

To be on the safe side it should be no more than 12.0-12.5. But just like Scorpion mention, if your only running lean near redline I wouldn't be so worried. But if its running lean from 0 to redline, I would be worried.

If you hear a loud pop when you get on it, that means your running way too lean and your motor is detonating. Not a good thing.

I have the 550cc's also. You'll be happy with them. Let us know when you get them on and tune that baby ASAP! Your tuner will be able to make your car run lean in the lower rpm range and richen it out as it gets closer to redline.

Good luck!
