What is the difference or benefit other then looks switching to this filter vs the stock foam filter? I think foam typically flows better then anything else does it not? maybe it flows too good and lets too much contaminants in?

Exactly, those foam filters are shit for filtration, youd be amazed how crappy and dirty your UOA is on it. The AFE filters are a tighter mesh and a cotton/gauze style filter with oil on it, so filtration is improved.

Looks like I got the last one in stock from Amazon, there was two but half way through the order process someone must have got one
It was $62 with free shipping but then they added $6 for tax so it actually came out to $68. Better then $75 I guess but whats the deal with tax? Internet stores usually doesn't charge tax.
