Default aem uego and serial gauge

I'm currently using the 1052 ems and the aem uego wideband gauge. I have a few other gauges as well. I'd really like to be able to use the aem serial gauge and get rid of the rest. Would the ems still get readings if I disconnect the harness from the uego gauge? Again, I'd really like to have one gauge.

do you have a 1052 or a 1052u, if u have the 1052 you dont need the guage as the controler is in the ecu, but if you have the 1052 you still need the guage as it is the controler but you can wire it up with the feed back into the ecu.

I have the 1052 and it is currently wired to the ems. I just wanted to only have one gauge. Will the ems still getting the reading if everything from the uego gauge is connected but the harness is removed from the gauge and hidden?

The gauge IS the controller as well. You can hide the gauge and just use it as a controller but it will still need to be connected. Then connect the 19-1 and monitor knock from there.

I have the 30-2301. It is just a sensor and controller without the gauge. I have it connected to the EMS then a 19-1 connected to the EMS' serial port. The only downside is that when tuning the laptop is connected to the EMS' serial port and the gauge is inactive. With your set up you could get the A/F gauge out from under the dash and still monitor it.
