AEM sending unit values for serial gauge?
Hey,
I have an AEM 150psi oil presure sending unit that i wired into the ADCR13 input, but im having a hard time figuring out how to input the values and parameters to make the sending unit display thru the serial, does anyone have any insight on this?

Well, you need to collate the 2 instruction manuals together. The oip pressure sending unit has the + and the ground. + from the Serial gauge, and the ground going to ground. But for better precision, the ground should go back to the serial gauge. The varying oil pressure makes a potentiometer change its resistance, and the gauge measures it. Then, knowing what resistance in Ohms equals to in psi, it displays accordingly.
That's the basics.
Now, you need to know what's the corresponding range in Ohms is to 0-150psi for that particular sensor. That way, say 360Ohm is 0 psi, 180Ohm is 75psi, and 0Ohm is 150psi. Or some such thing. Is there a way to setup these parameters in your gauge?
