Default AEM EMS WON'T Connect! and NEED base MAP!

So ive been reading online and i have seen that some people have not been able to connect with there aem ems..

Ive been trying to mess with it and ive also been using a usb cord to try and correct it. I downloaded the new version of aem ems for 1012. And am having issues with the ECU trying to connect.. it says ECU OFFLINE FLASHING in red and stays at query and doesn't move an inch..

Much input would be appreciated. please don't bash me cause ive been trying to figure this out for awhile.

and if anybody would possible be able to share with me a BASE MAP that would be much appreciated to! thanks you and please help me!

as for trying to connect, what works everytime for me is start up the aempro program, click connect, then put the key in the ignition and turn it to on. connects every time for me.

i think it might be the usb port on the computer.. ever since ive been looking at the com ports it has a caution sign with a exclamtion point. meaning it's not reading the ems then?

let me know when u get the chance man

We also need more info about your setup to get you the right basemap.

Take the ecu and laptop over to the battery and put power from the battery directly to the ecu. See if it will connect that way.
