AEM EMS on Vortech SC
Hey guys I posted some dyno charts a while back and the owner of the shop (Shawn Church) told me my car wa running lean. Basically he said that the car was running where the would tunr for NA applications. I havent driven the car since and am currently tryin to purchase an aem ems with internal wideband as well as 740cc inj and a 9# pulley and belt. The question is my clutch is slipping so I need to add that to the list and am now thinking if I could just get the EMS and clutch for now and upgrade the pulley and injectors later.
Would the AEM EMS alone be able to add enough fuel or am I going to need the injectors? Im planning on ditching the FMU. Any advice would be great.
current mods are testpipe and exhaust, I think this combo is what is making me run lean.

You should be able to get new injectors for less than $400.
The EMS will be able to change the pulse width but the factory injectors are only good to 300-320 hp.
Get the new injectors.
Don't add the pulley until you have everything else squared away.

No, you need larger injectors to properly tune the engine.
The FMU just raises the fuel pressure to dangerous levels, and provides no ignition timing control.
id get some 550's. those will be large enough for what you are trying to accomplish
