when i read this page i thought it would be actual people sharing maps...well its clearly not. getting someone elses map that has a simular set up is awsome help and a great idea to anyone running a new ems (detuned). as every one should know, that any map close to your set up will drastically ruduce the price to have you car tuned even if the map only gets your car started, it still reduces that much time for the tuner to program that. i am getting mine tuned by jotech in about 2 month a i am going to come here and directly up load mine.

I'm not sure how you guys will be able to upload the EMS files to S2ki. Uploading photos at the moment is a bit difficult. You may just have to trade PM's and e-mail addys to share maps.

Like I posted earlier. My map is now on the AEM forum under calibrations. It is a work in progress, but the one posted was the final map for my log manifold setup. It should be a good starting point for someone with a similar setup AFTER they add extra fuel and reduce timing. It can also give them a reference as to what some others have been able to run. The compare feature of the AEM Pro program is great to see differences.

A week from tomorrow, the 30th, I should be home and will start tuning my new setup. I take EFI101 in Boulder, CO July 16-17. I'll probably work on my maps again after that and post those.

I'll be posting mine on the AEM page when I'm satisfied with the tune. Stay tuned ( ). It is a boost comp map, 8.7:1 compression ratio, GT35R turbo, 1000 cc Precission injectors, Alaniz head work, Full Race manifold, and 3" UR exhaust with no cat. With this setup the MAP is good for a little better than 18 whp per pound of boost with a very conservative ignition map.

My soon-to-be tuner said that for intial setup, the exact PSI does not need to be exactly the same as my setup to help with the start-up/idle. Is this true? Can a similiarly boosted(within 4psi) tune in fact provide sufficient data?

I'm on the road and may not be able to check back until tomorrow morning. TIA.

I would love to find a map to an 04 F22 motor. I have searched and searched but it seems as if no one has done it yet. I downloaded a 8.2lb comptech setup from a 2002 S and will use that to start the car up and get it to the tuner.

Can't wait to get my EMS tuned becuase my car is running like crap!!

The MAPs are specific for each car and generally are not interchangeable. There are many variables like backpressure, components, fuel, etc. that copying someone elses MAP could easily end up frying your engine. Get your AEM EMS tuned by a competent tuner and enjoy.

This is not just cut and paste. You would have to have an exact replica of the base car's setup in order to run the same map. In short, proceed with caution.

Of course, a base map is a good starting point for your tuner, but it cannot replace tuning on your car. Just face it: at some point, you're gonna have to bust out the $$ to get your car tuned...unless you're one of these mutants like fperra, slows2k, etc. that was born with a FI encyclopedia in your brain.
