AEM EMS
Has anyone had any problems with disconnecting power to their EMS during the winter months? (roughly 6 months at a time)
I was worried that I might lose my tune as I'm not too sure how long the capacitors in the EMS will hold enough juice to store it this long in very cold weather. Or am I mistaken in how the EMS holds it's memory?
Thanks for the help.

If you have all info on your laptop, couldn't it just reload all info if your EMS lost memory? Just a thought.
Thanks though.

Don't worry. It shouldn't erase. I leave my battery unplugged for large parts of the year and my tune is always right where I left it and right on.

No worries...the AEM EMS will not lose tunes because of being disconnected from a power source. When you tune and save the tune in AEM Pro, it actually writes the tune to memory. It's not like ROM where it needs a battery to hold whatever it's written.
