Agreed, my Jeff Evans e-tune had ignition cut a couple hundred rpms before fuel as well.

I cut ignition a few hundred RPMs before fuel because I would rather not have the possibility for a lean mixture at high rpm and high load... I figured that this was an unlikely possibility, but still something I would prefer to avoid.
