dammmnnnnnn... That sucks,
I have heard comments that there is more vibration in the car as a result of having the supercharger. Wes can you quantify and qualify this statement. Like are we talking big time weedeater make your hands go numb through the steering wheel vibration? Does the car vibrate more as a whole...? where do you feel the vibration?

When most of us first got the SC we noticed the vibration in the shifter. I don't notice it any more, not sure if I just got used to it or what. That's really the only thing I notice.

vtecvoodoo also has the same crack. He's also supercharged.
So what actually causes the crack? vibrations from the supercharger?

Harmonics from the SC causes the front plate to flex and vibrate adding stress to the weakest link in the setup.

CC- like Wes says you really only feel it in the shifter. Other than that it just feels like stock but with more power.

Wes - Make sure you keep an eye on the VTEC bracket crack. Your crack is close to the oil filter screen in the VTEC solenoid. I don't think you will have a problem but I had the rubber gasket tear once and it leaked oil.

Is the front plate that you refer to the main plate that mounts the Novi 1000?
