haha, I was just talking to a customer about S/C stuff while reading this and got mixed up

yea...with a turbo it's a bad idea. Especially if you've got a larger turbo like a GT35R on there.

np, I figured you just got mixed up. The turbo is a Precision SC-61.

I might try contacting HT guy and see if he'll trade my 4.77 dif (which is only 3 or 4 months old) for a CT 4.1 and waive shipping since my gears are worth more and he probably has 1000 4.1 sets sitting around.

If that doesn't work, I'm sure I could find someone who wants my 4.77s and then can pay for me to get a CT reinforced 4.1 set from HT guy, and they can pay my shipping for the 4.77 to them and they can send their original 4.1 back to HTguy to get their core deposit back. I'd only want maybe 200 in addition just to pay for the labor to switch the diffs out. That would only end up being costing them 8 or 9 hundred versus the 1350 it costs to get the dif straight from HT guy, and mine is already broken in.

I don't see a problem as long as you don't mind the RPM's on the highway cruises. It's not like the power output is that high at low RPM's - it's a centrifugal blower.
i think u misread that it is a turbo not a SC

Hey Justin, I'll send my diff to comptech and get a reinforced one + cash trade for your 4.77s.

You have a deal, sir

Let's set that up ASAP so I can do the diff break-in to coincide with my clutch break-in.
