Default 9 PSI inlinePRO + 4.77 gears...

I know someone who will be running this setup soon and it's a daily driver S.

I keep saying it's a bad idea, but what does everyone else think and why?

first off 4.77 gears are not a good combo for that setup. 9 psi is doable as long as it is tuned properly, but i would ditch the 4.77 gears

I mean it's a bad idea for the combo, not the 9 psi....Boost = happiness.

I don't see a problem as long as you don't mind the RPM's on the highway cruises. It's not like the power output is that high at low RPM's - it's a centrifugal blower.

It's a turbo, not supercharger

Yes I'm the one with 4.77s. I have loved them being N/A, but I know it might be a little crazy with the turbo now. My gas mileage already went from 28 mpg to 20 mpg with the gear install, and being fully boosted at 5K rpms when cruising on the highway at 80 mph is going to make my mileage probably 12-14.

If anyone has a Comptech dif and wants to trade, I'm more than willing. I'd prefer 4.3 or 4.44, but I'd take 4.10 or 4.57 as well.
