Default 7lbs pulley for comptech question....

I have an 03, and want to supercharge it. For one reason or another, I will go with comptech aftercooled. I know it runs 5.5 psi, and the vortec runs 7psi. What will I need to upgrade to the kit/my car (besides the pulley) to have my car run safetly with a 7lbs pulley on the comptech...ie injectors, emanage...etc.

Thanks for the help!

To add the 7 psi just get the dynoed or a wideband on it and turn up the FPR.

Comptech even sells that pulley. I went with my friend from San Fran to Comptech HQ and saw this done.

I'm running a 7lb pulley from Tech2 with CT aftercooled SC and VAFC and got good results. 319 rwhp on a Dynojet. Don't forget the bigger injectors (550cc RC's) and most importantly, proper qualified tuning. Without good tuning you might as well stick with the stock 5.5lb pulley that comes with the Comptech kit.

As I PM'd you, I made 310 rwhp w/o any mods other than the 7lbs pulley. With VAFC, 317 on stock injectors, but it was just under 13:1 A/F.

I wouldn't get 550's for a 7lbs pulley. You want to get the smallest size injectors that will do the job- 440's would suffice.

has anyone tried this as of yet? It seems that it would work given the boost level difference and FMU differences. But on stock injectors still?
