3" single vs 3" dual
#21
I recently went from a 3" straight through to an Invidia 70mm Twin with a custom mid muffler.
It has gone from a very tiring drive to something that is very comfortable on the ears. Not sure if I've lost any power but it's not noticeable if I have.

I have the dual Ultimate Racing setup, and I lost no HP going from Inline Pro single. Then again the UR setup is ridiculously good quality, so I won't say all dual setups are equal.
On a side note, I gave my IP single setup and a friend put it on a non turbo AP2. GROSSSSS! So loud and ricey.

Spec opps switched from a invida v3 to the inline pro single as did I. They are equally as loud fyi. I added a 3" magna flow cat which helped and I lost no power at all. I gained around 15 HP maybe more adding the single, I think that was similar to specs opps gains. The invida v3 flows very well for a dual so making even more power buy adding it I was very happy. I do however understand it can be kinda loud over long trips. You will probably give up some power, but I'm not sure you will notice 15 hp or so. Just turn the boost up 1 psi!

You installed a high flow cat and didn't lose any power? is that even possible?? which one did you get? I'd like to get one too. OR should I just get a 3rd muffler inline?
