3" dual vs 3" single. Which is louder?
I have done research for countless hours and all the info is ambiguous or conflicting.
Heres my question:
Assuming I want to make an exhaust setup for a supercharged s2000, using 3" piping from the cat all the way to the end, using the same type of muffler (lets say Spintech) and 1 resonator, which setup will provide more power and which setup will be quieter?
So to review there will be 2 setups.
SETUP A:
True 3" Catback, single resonator, dual spintech mufflers
SETUP B:
3" cat back, single resonator, single spintech muffler.
Any ideas?

I think the single will not only make more power, but it will also be louder. Neither by much. Probably so little the decision will be in which you like more. Dual just has that little bit more restriction. Just think about it as the straightest and most free flowing path is the best for turbo. Dual flames on high rpm shifts is way cooler though

We have seen just changing a exhaust from a dual to a single a 40hp increase on a turbo car.
