Thumbs up $275 "3 Test Pipe with CEL Fix worth it?

Hey guys with the Greddy Turbo Kit I was looking at doing a Test Pipe, I can't seem to find one in "3 so Asked Brian at Berk and he said he can Fab one up for $275.00. Should take around 3 weeks)

1) The "2.5 Test Pipe is only $109.00 I will have a "3 inch Exhaust so is my best option going for the fairly expensive "3 Test Pipe, or should I just do the "2.5?, I Feel like whats the point of having a "3 Exhaust if my TestPipe is only "2.5 ya know what I mean

2) Anyone know of anyone else who makes "3 Test Pipes with the CEL Fix?

Well I am pretty sure that the Greddy DP is 2.75" so really a 70mm test pipe would prolly work...

I hear ya, so I guess I should go with the $109.00 Test Pipe and spend the other $200 on something else........ I am sure any muffler shop could easily weld on a 3inch Cat-Back to a 2.5 inch Test Pipe Correct?

I have the T1R cel fix - If you want it, I will sell it to you for $20.

Why don't you get a shop to fabricate one for you? The performance/tuning shop I go to would probably make one for 100 bucks. 70mm is what you'll want.

The CEL fix makes the car think that it's stock and it will not throw a CEL fix. You can actually pass an emissions test with a test pipe as long as it has this extended bung fix.

The .5 difference is probably very worth it. I'd estimate that it'd make a 5 rwhp difference alone. You're getting rid of another bottleneck so if you can get one done for a good price I would do it.
