2002 S2k with 65K miles OK to add SC?
Do I spend the cash to upgrade my 02 which has 65+K miles witha SC kit, or sell my 02, and buy an 04 with lower miles and then add a SC.... I love my 02 but just worried about dumping 5K into a car with 65K miles by adding a SC and how much the car can take.... already has 65K miles of use now add the stress of a SC, juts looking for some advice and insight.....thanks all! any thoughts on this?

Well, it really depends on how well your ride has been maintained. Obviously, a routinely abused car has more of a chance of falling apart compared to a well-maintained car.
Personally, I installed my CTSC with about 44K miles on the clock, but I had always meticulously maintained my ride since I bought it new in 2003. Before the install, I had a quick compression/leakdown test done for a little reassurance (probably didn't need to, but I'm just paranoid about these things).

What he said ^ . It really depends on how the car was taken care of. If it was routinely maintained properly and with the right stuff, it will be fine. If not, then you may blow something in time.
