Ive read that the stock map sensor limitations of boost is 10.XX psi, but what happens if you run over 10 psi? I havent found the consequences, is it fuel cut etc..? Ive boosted briefly up to 14 psi with no noticeable effects but im currently running 9psi until my greddy boost sensor arrives.

The Greddy E-Manage provides MAP clamp features so the stock computer won't even know that you exceeded atmospheric pressure. However, the Greddy E-Manage won't know your real MAP value and as such might not provide enough fuel. It is possible and easy to blow your engine by running more boost than a MAP sensor can measure. Once you get a MAP sensor that can measure more boost, you will need to be aware of the limits of your injectors and the E-Manage itself. The E-Manage can only trick the stock computer up to thinking its at atmospheric pressure. With 600cc injectors, that means you can only safely run about 10 psi or 400 crank horsepower at stock fuel pressure. (both being roughly 1.667 times stock values - 1.667=600/360)

the stock map sensor can read just over 10 psi. if you exceed that boost pressure, the ecu will think you are running 10.XX psi. so you can imagine what will happen if you run say 14 psi or even 17 psi, the fueling and ignition value output would be the same was your 10 psi.
in other words, dont do it.
