primary o2 sensor and secondary o2 sensor disable aem series 2
I'm in process of turbocharger my s2000. Ap1. My down pipe didn't come with a o2 bung on there. I have to drill and weld my wideband on. My question is can I disable both my o2 sensor and just run my wideband? Aem ems series 2 program.

You can unplug both the sensors, pain in the ass to get to the clips since it sits in the transmission tunnel and run a test pipe so you can put the wideband in.
You'll have to cut the Wire going into the stock ECU harness and solder in the the wideband to pin c16 if I'm not mistaken. The way I did it for easy moving back and forth between stock and wideband was cutting the stock wire and attaching two male ends to the stock wire and the wideband wire. Added some extra wire and a female end to the wire that connects to the harness. Makes life easy when swapping between oem and aem

Seem like a lot of work. I'm use to hondata s300 just disabled both sensor and I just run my wideband for tuning. I'm on the aem fail safe right now. Would I still need to do what you said?

As far as I know, the only way to cut the signal from the primary and secondary is to cut off the wire going to the ECU. Even if you unplugged the sensor and left the wire in, you'd get some disturbance in the feedback, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
If unplugging it is a hassle, put a plastic bag / ziplock or something over the sensor, tie it up and zip tie it to somewhere it won't get damaged. It works but to be on the safer side I'd unplug it.
When tuning you're going to need a wideband either way so I don't see the harm in doing what I mentioned.

Yeah my plan was to unplug both o2 out and just run a wideband to my ems for tuning. If cutting the wire will help with not disturbance the management I will do that. C16 was the wire I needed cut right?

I'll go home and take a look at my manual, scan the wiring harness diagram.
Actually now that I think about it, the AEM EMS 2 came with a manual too which referenced the wire that needed to be spliced.
