if you upgrade firmware you gotta convert the CAL to v24 too:
since youre tuned you probably shouldn't do this.
if you ever intend to retune, then go right ahead and upgrade everything; when i installed the RDX injectors in my car, i basically upgraded and adjusted the basemap enough to the point where i could drive it to dyno.

Per v24CAL stock injector dead times (copied and pasted right out of AEMTuner):
i think these were different than what i had in an older calibration v22? these worked a whole lot better barely out of the box than my "old tuned" one.

6v = 2.54999994300306
7v = 2.18999995104969
8v = 1.7799999602139
9v = 1.47999996691942
10v = 1.26999997161329
11v = 1.10999997518957
12v = 0.949999978765845
13v = 0.809999981895089
14v = 0.709999984130263
15v = 0.61999998614192
16v = 0.589999986812472

Test Vehicle: 2004 Honda S2000 (AP2)
Engine: stock F22C1
Injectors: stock 360cc/min high-impedance ~12 ohms
MAP sensor: stock
Induction: stock airbox, intake manifold
Fuel: California Unleaded 91 Octane
Fuel System: stock
Air Filter: stock
Exhaust: stock header, stock cat, aftermarket muffler

you will find this in Trim tab as battery offset primary.
I would backup your tuner Cal as it is before you make any changes in case you need to revert back.
i would only change 6v to 11v, and set your crank injector to like 10,000uSec
see if that improves your cold start.

RealStreet posted good info on this topic as well. Do a search under their username and see if you can find it. If I run across it again, I will link it. Good luck.

Let us know what they say about the dash coolant temp issue. One thing with the startup fuel...if you have "crank inject all" checked it will give you an initial crank pulse of 0ms. This is a bug in AEMTuner and is not how it should act. "Crank inject all" is checked in the base s2000 calibration.

Did anything come of the dash coolant temp issue - re gauge reading high?

I have a V2 on a AP1 and the OEM dash gauge reads 3 bars within 30 seconds although the temps are no where near that.

Bumpin this thread..

Since a few days, my ap1 cluster is showing a 4th bar
(never happened before)

I have series 2, and the updated temp correction fron this thread.

I have a serial gauge showing coolant temp, at 205F the 4th bar on the cluster lights up and at 202/203F it shows 3 bars again..

In the past i got up to 212F on the serial gauge and still having 3 bars lighted on the cluster.. So its confusing why i suddenly see a 4th bar on the cluster with "just" 205F

Anyone?

I don't have EMS installed anymore but I remember when I did have it, there is a calibration chart for voltage to temp regarding the coolant temp. My guess would be that the calibration chart is off by a few degrees. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
