new to s2k tuning
well ive tuned most of my vehicles all older hondas really, and the few that have been obd2 we always convert to obd1 and tune that way and it seems to hold tunes better than obd2 unsure why just what i was always taught and seemed to work, so why dont i see anyone convertin the s to obd1 for tuning? wouldnt that open up to quit a bit more tuning options besides the usual ems options?
trying to learn now before i dable with the s, ive done alot of other reading in this thread so far but like i said im used to tuning older hondas lolz

it it that obd2b or whatever its called bs ? lmao, and really i like neptune and i like s300 and dream of having those setups on the s lmao also because theyre cheaper than all the options of fully tuning the vehicle than we have now.

I use S300 on my Prelude and it's nice. But I'll for sure be running the AEM EMS on the S; probably next year.

Installing a dizzy would take a LOT of work and money. Getting a better EMS than S300, Neptune ect would be much easier/cheaper. Then you have the fact that you'd be downgrading your ignition system.

I don't think there was anything "better" about OBDI over OBDII as it related to tuning. I thought the Preludes just needed to be converted to OBDI so that they could use the existing aftermarket ECU's that weren't compatable with OBDII.

Because id rather use neptune on the s if I could.and no my prelude is factory obd1 most obd0 and obd2 cars convert to obd1 because the for some reason obd2 cars wont hold a tune. Im trying to get in touch w. Some local friends to figure a better answer for u.and will be in touch
