Default k-pro install question

So following along with the cam trigger removal, the diy that im following says there should be a 8mm nut on the back of my exhaust cam shaft, hold the other end with a wrench and it should be LH threads to take it out. But it doesn't appear that i have a 8mm nut, it almost seems like my cam shafts been pressed to fit on that end. Can anyone chime in here and tell me im missing something stupid? My car is an MY00, my only another assumption is after market cams but the previous owner didn't mention anything. So I cry for your help, and thanks for your time.
