The AEM base maps are included with the software install.

basemaps are stored in AEM tuner (program files) on your computer. They are uploaded to the EMS and you can only have one loaded at a time. Backup your original map on the EMS or you will lose it if overridden.

What he means is back up your turbo map before uploading the new AEM base map. Before you do anything else, you need to download the AEM Pro software and read the guides it comes with. New maps mean recalibrating the TPS and checking timing. It's not difficult and is well described in the AEM manuals. You and everyone else who has installed the AEM Pro software has base maps for all of their compatible EMS systems automatically installed onto your computer. They are stored there regardless of what is actually in your EMS.

Starting from scratch, all you have to do is upload default basemap. Without o2 feedback, adjust using +/- keys on the fuel map to get to 14.7afr at idle and fully warmed up 90c. Compare and calculate the idle cells a new stock base map and note the % change.

Load a fresh basemap and modify the entire fuel table by the % change noted. Also modify the start tab - crank injector and initial pulse by the same %.

Calibrate your tps using wizard, calibrate it again when car is fully warmed up.

Calibrate timing wizard. Basically lock it at 5deg or wherever the timing mark on the crank pulley. Can use a cheap timing light with no adjustability and press the arrow signs until it lines up perfectly with the mark, then unlock the timing.

From here you teach the car how to idle by teaching it ~500 to 2000rpm with +/-. Aka idle learned = 0% for each rpm. Teach it how to high idle at cold start (vs water temp)...starts at 2k rpm cold and lowers to normal 950rpm by 90c water temp.

Set decel fuel cut off parameters.

Now you can street tune live using the +/- keys and arrows or "follow map". Very easy to do if u have a passenger with half a brain.

if you were anywhere close to Bahrain like Khobar or Dammam, i would have asked you to come over to Bahrain and helped you maybe.
but in Jeddah, you can contact Hussam Altayeb, he should be able to check it for you.
