Default Do I need my AirControl valve for Hondata?

I have an 01 s2k with kpro. I am aware the system doesn't require an airpump, so by logic, I don't need my AirControl valve (On top of my intake manifold) correct? I want to keep my car emissions legal, will this affect this?

Well the airpump and AirControl valve do not operate with KPRO, so you might as well take it off.
