AEM series 2 cold idle problem
Been having this problem with my idle when the engine is cold. It will idle 300-700 rpm lower than what I have in my idle target table when cold but after the engine is warmed up it will idle perfect.
Seems like the colder it is outside the worse the problem is. It was 20 degrees this morning and the idle was around 600-700 rpm causing me to have to hold the throttle slightly open to keep it from stalling. Only thing i can think of is to increase the idle feedback to excessive levels (15-20%). Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Make sure your throttle plate is open far enough. Your IAC may be fully open and not able to flow the extra air needed when cold. We had a bored and stroked new gen HEMI in the shop that had a VERY fine line between too much throttle plate opening when warm and too little when cold. You mght have to play around with it a bit. Have a look at the idle position channel when idling cold and see where it sits. Above about 85% ours didnt seem to do much. Be sure to rescale your TPS though.
