AEM EMS-4, won't start
So, I recently had my engine rebuilt and it now has 12.5:1 compression. I didn't feel safe running it on the stock ecu, so I bought an AEM EMS-4 with a plug and play harness from Boomslang. Well, we installed everything last night and we couldn't get it to start. We then decide to plug straight in the stock ecu to see if it would start, it did. Does anyone know why we would be having this problem? Do we need to switch crank or cam sensors?
Thanks,

Let's start off with can you connect to a computer with AEM Software?
What tune are you running?
Can you verify when you turn key over are you getting all good signals in the software, mainly are you seeing crank sensor when cranking?

Does the tuner have experience with this particular ECU. I have a feeling that you can't just select S2000 and have all the sensors work with a base map for fuel and ignition. Pretty sure it's going to take a little work to get fired up.
