Default XM radio details

Right now, I've got the Roady2 tuner module from my old car. However, the S has quite a bit less room. And not too many options where I could mount the tuner.

Given that the 04 head units are compatible with XM (via a trunk mounted tuner module), I was thinking about this option.

My question is, what information will be displayed on the factory head unit? I've heard that I won't get the song artist and title. Which I absolutely need.

If that's the case, I could live with the Roady2 in the short term until I can figured out a more 'integrated' solution.

thanks
mike

Why not go w/ a new headunit w/ the integrated XM/Sirius tuner... will cost you a lot less and you'll be able to get the features you want.

you cant "get it" anywhere.

I did it myself, just used a dremel and some time

its not that hard to do - and if you screw it up, a new radio door is only $25

i have the OEM tuner.

one line. you can choose artist or song, but only one at a time. ten characters. hit "more" button for another few... sounds good, a bit slower to change channels than your roady2.
