Which Would You Choose Between These 2 Amps
JL450/4 is a regulated amp. 2X75 at 2-8 ohms and 2X150 at 2-8 ohms
this amp pumps our these watts at any ohms from 2 to 8 ohms and at 11-14.4 volts... which is pretty cool but at the same time when the 2 150's are bridged they only pump out 300 at all times. even at 2 ohms only 300..
the audiobahn A4125HCT is a high current amp pumping out 4X125W. each channel is 1 ohm stable and when bridged they are 2ohm stable...
which means at 14.4 volts they will pump out 125W
Now for my setup I have infinity 6.1 perfect and a custom fiberglass box with JL12W6V2 in a 2 ohm..
with the JL the pefect will be getting 75W no more, no less and sub will be getting 300 no more no less..
With the audiobahn fronts get 125W MAX and sub gets 500W MAX...
thats only if the input voltage is 14.4... which is never teh case since we only get about 12.6V at best..
According to the audioshop with audiobahn, when the sub hits it will drown out the Perfects because it's not a regulated amp...
any inputs will be welcome.....
TIA
