Default Wires/ first wire tuck suggestions

Hi,

I am rebuilding my s2000 and while everything is out I would like to try to tuck the wires/ smooth out the holes in the engine bay.

As I never done anything this big before I need some suggestions.

1.
On a UK model, where does this harness disconnect inside the car (left hand side harness at the bottom by the battery.

I took out the dash but it seems that the heater needs to come out (considering if its worth it as I cant see where it disconnects.) Is the heater hard to take out? and will it let me take out the harness?

2.Since I'm a newbie with wire tucking I came up with a safe option- To buy both used harnesses from another car and extend the wires using original same gauge/colour. possibly leave the fuse box in the engine bay, move the alarm and steering ECU in to the fender. Want to relocate the battery to the trunk and relocate the headunit in to the secret compartment to make room for 3 gauges in the headunit area. Seen a few examples online, got the inspiration just need to find the bits and come up with full plan

Any examples, suggestions, links would be more then welcome
