Default Will this subwoofer box fit in my S2k's trunk?

Its a ported box for a 10" L7. Right now its in a 12"x12"x12" sealed box. I want to switch to ported for more efficiency. Here it is...

Dimensions: W=23 3/4" H=13 1/4" TD/BD=15 7/8

I took out the tray that holds the med kit, tire iron, flares; and I'm planning on facing the box up. This box is made by Audio Enhancers and the model# is KPL10S.

Any help is appreciated!!!

Well based on the box dimensions it will be tight at best... try removing the trunk liner and you will gain a good bit of space...

Thanks! I was planning on doing that as a last resort. But if I have to do that, I will do it. I miss my old sub in a ported box, its just so much better IMO. Ill sacrifice trunk space if I have to.

I am leaning towards "no." I think, if I recall correctly, the tool well from front to rear is only like 11 3/4". It will be tight....Look at the diagrams in the FAQ's about the tool-well boxes, and how to make them. There should be dimensions on there.

Trunkwell dimensions are 15.5"x25" when trunkliner is removed. You have that dimension for only a couple of inches... approx. 4.25".

Went back out and measured to see how close the box would be to the trunklid... too close to work well. You'd have it firing right into the lid.

Firing right into the lid, that would sound great!

Yeah I did the same thing, went to my drawings of the drunk and sorry but it wont fit. However you can build one that does...
