will this cd changer work???
yah well i friend of mine has a 95 accord with the factory trunk mounted cd changer. he doesnt want it anymore and i am wondering if it would work with my stock head unit? if it does work will i have to take all the wires ect from his car? is it hard to install into my car???

These guys will probably know the answers. They specialize in repairing OEM cd changers, but they also sell changers, cables, patch cords, adaptors. My guess is that they will say you can do it. I think the changers had a major redesign in model year 1994 and that any 1994 and after Honda changer will work with any 1994 and after Honda stereo head. I might be wrong.
They repaired my Honda (Alpine) CD Changer from my '93 Prelude and it has worked fine since.

I seriously doubt it will work.
I have a changer from a 98 Prelude, and it is not compatible with the 2001's head unit. The CD changer connector on the back of the 2001 head unit is this blue rectangle thing, whereas the plug on the 98 head unit was a circle.
Can't put a square peg in a round hole, or vicea versa in this case!
I'm selling my changer on Ebay now, and I'm going to buy an Alpine with an adaptor. Luckily they are only $250 plus $50 for the adaptor. $300 isn't that bad.
