Anyone know if this would fit? I know the faq says motoried headunits would hit the HU, but i was browsing through crutchfield and it says it does fit. So i was wondering if anyone knew, cuz i wanted to pick on up.
Touch screen, yum.

Ok listen i'm ganan answer this real easy , anything will fit if you want it to fit... do you want to have your radio cover close? If yes then no it wont , also do you want your radio cover beacuse in order for this to fit you'll have to fiberglass a panel that looks pretty much like the door cover does so that you can have it spaced out enough to fit. Everyone says the problem is it hits the shifter , not true , you can throw it in 4th ,6th or even reverse to get the screen to come out , it's the vents uptop... Now we've experimented with the factory fitment with a pioneer 6700 and got it to work by taking out the vents and spacing it back a little bit to make it "slide" into wher ethe vents used to be , but it is a little difficult to see. So if you going to spend on the money on the screen anyways , why not get it glassed and make it look good too :-)

The above information is too loose. There is NO screen on the market that will fit properly in the stock location. (without MAJOR modifications).
The problem is NOT getting the screen to open, but to stay in an upright postion. The vents/dash will make the screen point down, thus, rendering it useless. You have to heavily modify the overhang for it to fit.
So basically, the answer is no, it will not fit in the stock location. I personally wouldnt recommend putting it in that location custom fit or not, because if you slip slamming 3rd gear, your fist will break the screen.

Lol , to rebuttle to the person who's stating "fact" or well thinks he is , your completly wrong :-) You CAN! fit a screen in there if you take out the vents... there are screens out there that not only moving up , and down , but they can move out , and in! Meaning you can space it just right to fit in those vents. Now please , review the stating fact forum before you make a comment like that
