Thanks to everyone at s2ki for contributing to such an informative site. I've been a long time reader, first time posting.

I'm looking for the OEM wiring harness for a MY04. I am attempting to put the stock s2000 CD player into my 89 Accord beater. I have been able to find this OEM harness online... Wiring Harness

It says it is for an MY00-02. Will this fit into a MY04 head unit? If so I cant imagine it would have the rear speaker outputs, added in 04. Any suggestions on where to find a MY04 OEM wiring harness, or advice on how to make this one work would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I found in another thread that a MY04 headunit will work in a MY00-03, so the connection on the back of the headunit must be the same. However I still cant believe that the 00-02 OEM harness (link above) has outputs for rear speakers as the 00-02's did not come prewired for the headrest speakers like the 04/05's did. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the OEM harness or know if it is possible to add the necessary wires for the rear speakers to the 00-02 harness.

the harness should have the wires in it already if its the one in your link.

that price is too high though. if you cant snag one at a local shop for 15 or less pm me and ill send you one for 10 shipped.

PM sent. To clear up any confusion, I'm looking for the second harness shown in the link above (the one with the blue connector). The OEM harness connects into the factory radio as opposed to a wiring harness (first picture in link) which we all know is needed to hook up an aftermarket headunit. Does anyone know if the MY00-03 CD players have outputs for all 4 channels? I was under the impression that they only had front channel outputs. If they do have 4 channels than the only difference between the MY00-03 headunits and MY04-05 headunits would be the wiring running to the back for the optional headrest speakers, correct? If so this older harness will do the job.
