Where can I get power in or around the dash
As the title states...I'm gonna have my gauges in the dash...they are all piggyback so that shouldn't be an issue but my air/fuel gauge needs it's own power source...Is there anything relatively close that I can tap for power because I won't have much slack on the wire to go too far away from the day?? I guess something behind or inside the dash would be ideal
thanks in advance for the help

shoulda mentioned i've already tapped into one accessory/switched power for my Valentine 1 and my first 3 gauges
Switched Power = gauges (oil press, oil temp, and water temp) and Valentine One
Constant Power = Gauge Control Unit
Switched Headlight Power = empty
I don't want to use the headlight switched power for the air/fuel gauge
I just want a power source I can splice/tap into under the dash aside from the fuse box

from your steering colum where your key goes in to the bottom of the fuse box. you really can't miss it.
Its the only bundled wires that are all 10AWG with one white that's bigger, may be an 8AWG. that's constant 12v.
if you look at the picture by Shedriveit. top right of that you see the brown plug with yellow tape around it. notice the white heavy guage wire? that's the 12V constant.
