What's the difference b/w Modifry & Qube Control?
I'm confused now since my DCI currently controls my outdated Sony Headunit...i can skip tracks, fast forward them from my audio button, etc....will i lose this if I buy an Alpine ida-x305 or cda-105 and use the modifry harness?
I barely bought my s2000 so I'm not sure how my DCI was previously connected to the headunit....
THIS IS AN EMERGENCY I NEED MY IPOD HOOKED UP TO MY HEADUNIT ASAP!!!?!?! =O

The Modifry DCI is specific to a brand/brands of head unit, in your case you have a Sony DCI unit which will not control an Alpine head unit.
I do have an Alpine wired DCI that I'd be willing to trade you for your Sony, since I have a Sony head unit I've been itching to install. My Alpine one worked great for the X305S that I have presently.
As for the Qube controls, that's an entirely different setup, and I think its currently unavailable. If Qube sells more, let me know because that's the one I really want. It alters your "Mode" knob to be 4-way multidirectional, which is alot more intuitive when you're changing tracks and such. In order to change tracks on my DCI I have to press & hold the Mode button while hitting Volume Up to go to the next track. For the Qube unit, just flick the Mode button to the right for next track.
