what would you say is..
what would you say is the best
1. Headunit
2. speakers
3. amp
4. subwoofer
kind of a bland question but if i get an s2k thats probably the first thing i would change.. but i dont know too much about car audio
im more of a home audio person
so whatever it is it has to have very good quality sound..since i am an audio fanatic
(in a way..)

I would say go to your local store and give them a listen. Everyones ears are a little different. I my like something and might think that same speaker sounds muddy or to bright sounding.
have tou ever had a sound system before? In any other car?

haha in my beemer
i have a sony xplod system well speakers and amp and an infinity 12 inch sub
the sub is beautiful
but i think the speakers just are to bland and dont carry out the highs good enough
also in the civic we use to also have 2 10 inch punch subs with some random amp not sure of the brand it was okay
but we never upgraded the speakers so it was just a waste so i took them out and there just sitting in the trunk of my beemer

figured. told you i didnt know much..
honestly it would be a lot of hip/hop and then hitting on some acoustic and alternative.
on a regular stock headunit.. alright lets see ill just go with the tC's setup in that section
i always but the treble up one notch from the bass
like in the tC my treble is usually at 3 and bass at 2
sorry for not knowing ANYTHING at all..sometimes i wish i could just grab my home theatre system and throw it in the car

I think you have to start with your budget and what you're willing to give up (e.g. trunk space, modified door panels). The "best" is sky high in price, besides being subjective.

trunk space is not to much of a problem as long as it can carry like 2 backpacks and some groceries
price..now thats a good question ahha
what would the price for a high end one reach to?

You can pay $2K for a pair of 10" Kicker Solo X competition subs plus $4K for a Hifonics XX-Maxximus amp to match. So there you go, $6K (plus custom box) just for enough thump to stop your heart.
6 1/2" components are not the high-end way to go on the mids & highs (see Darkknight's awesome door skins!) but they fit with minimum modification. No budget? I'd pick the Focal 165 K2P's at $600 but DLS Ultimates can run even higher.
So once again, how much $$ are you willing to spend?
