Brutewes

I'm pretty set on these speakers, but would like to hear from people with them. I did a search but couldn't find much. What amp are you using? How many watts? How do you like them?

I almost bought those, I was going to power them with the 300/2.
Dave talked me in to kappa perfects so it never happened.

The XRs are good speakers, but they cost almost TWICE as much as Kappa perfects, and are about HALF as good. A friend on mine with an RSX has 2 pairs of them, and my 1 pair of Kappas sound better. Just my .02

I have them, running off the front 2 channels of a JL 300/4 amp. They sound plenty good, the only car I've ever used them in, I found in the S2000 that the tweeters are a bit bright which can easily be solved by using the -dB settings of the crossovers. The only speakers I have liked better are Diamond Audio M6 and Hex series components, which if I was to do all over again I would choose, but at the time I wanted all 1 brand, and I was set on a stealthbox.
