I have not seen this part before. You will need to use a Digital Multi Meter to search the point, the point will switch to ground when you lock or unlock.

One should go to the hazard light switch and backup battery behind the seat. This harness will need to be extended in order to be able to reach to behind the seat.

Thanks for the DIY guide, I based my install pretty loosely off of it and found it very helpful. This was my first alarm install and it's working perfectly, although it took way longer to install than I expected. Thanks!

Im glad this DIY guide can help you guys out. I heard that the huge pictures isnt that convenient, I will convert into a PDF file when I get time.
The next additional DIY guide I would like to do is to blend in a Turbo Timer, since I will be helping a friend doing this in the future.

great write up, but where does the red constant input wire of the 6 pin harness go? I'm changing the way mine is set up, the guy I had install it before ran the red to the fuse box under the hood for a constant power source. But when I'm driving the light on the antenna still blinks. I assume its because its always got power. Also It looks like when you tapped into the fuse box under the dash, that you have a green to orange, purple to orange, pink to black w yellow, and a darker pink wire connected to a white, but that would make 4. Thanks in advance.
