Thanks for posting all the detailed pictures! I'm moving my amp from it's current spare tire location to vertical. Now I don't have to re-invent the wheel.

Helped me out a lot too, just finished mounting my PG tantrum T600 in the exact same way, came out great (and I can't believe I did it myself!!!)

I know this is very much a necro post but I've searched for a bit and found no answers. I'm in the process of re-locating my amp and really like the idea of of the area to the left of where the spare tire protrudes. Does anyone have any dimensions for an amp rack in this location or other insight on this?

Also have a look at my sig for a nice amp above the gas tank install (click where it says "ICE Pics". Oth's posts were extremely helpful to me for doing this.
