I just installed a JVC KD-A925BT. Very happy with this head unit. I have my iPhone mounted just like the picture you posted. I have it wired to the rear USB port in the deck and the wire is snaked under the passenger knee pad. Also it will stream the iPhone via bluetooth, no wires needed. It also does bluetooth cell phone calls, sounds good too.
Did you have to make any adjustment to the radio door? Currently looking for a receiver that will allow me tO keep the door
