looking at 8s and 10s.....with a sub in the trunk will you get rattling?
i've been following the write ups on where to mount them and such, but didn't get too much info on if it causes rattling.
what did you guys find?

I had a lot of rattle coming from the panel above the bottom shelf where the top rests. I removed it and put rubber weather stripping around the area where it attaches. So far so good.

...if you dynamat under the tray, you should not have any real problems with rattling (assuming you are not running crazy amounts of wattage at anything higher than 100 HTZ). The higher the hertz, them more the rattle. I have my x-over set at 80HTZ and am running 283WRMS to it, and NO problems other than the tray.
The S is very tightly put together.
