Anybody have any input on this?
Reseat the bulb, that's your issue GUARANTEED unless you damaged your bulb or projector during the install. When you push the metal clip over the bulb that holds it in place, it can sometimes become slightly unseated too. If the base of the bulb is not 100% flush with the projector you WILL see results like what you have going on here. Just take your bumper off and do it again. And this time, check your pattern before you put it back on.

If I recall when I installed the bulbs, the top of the base was flush with the projector, the bottom was not completely. I figured the metal clip just holds it like this. I wiggled it and it was solid. Maybe this is my issue.

I ripped my bumper and headlight out and took a look at it. I reseated the bulbs the exact same way but switched them from side to side and problem is now gone. Go figure. Here are some pics of how they were installed. Thanks for the help everyone.

In terms of brightness, not much. I know they are supposedly the brightest 5k bulbs 35watt bulbs you can buy. The color is more pleasant than the stock 4300k. Just pure white.

If your regular bulbs are fairly new then you won't notice much of a difference. My old bulbs had a ton of hours on them so when I swapped in the CBIs I was blown away with how much more light I had.

Yeah they're a bit brighter than the stock bulbs. I guess just from the reviews I was expecting a night and day difference which I didn't see.

So after using these for a while im very happy with them. They are definitely brighter than stock and I just love the color. Just pure white. At the cutoff there is a more pronounced blue/purple tinge than stock - the flicker is awesome.

Nice! Anyone use 6k bulbs before? If so do they have too much blue to look ricey? One of my bulbs blew recently and had another laying around. Put it in and much more yellow than my other side. I beliew the one I put in was oem so just wonder if 6k would be what my other one is. Mostly white with a very slight blue tint I guess.

6000k is too blue for my taste plus you lose light output. OEM bulbs start out at 4300k but will color shift to about 5000k. I believe philips sells the same oem bulbs in three types :

85122+ that will NOT color shift
85122CM or 85122CX (I believe this is the updated name) that are already color shifted (5000k)
85122 that will color shift (OEM bulbs)

The great thing about the Osram CBIs is that they actually produce MORE lumens than the stock bulbs (not to mention also have a wider beam). OEM 4300k bulbs are rated at 3200k lumens, 6k bulbs are usually 2400 lumens, Osram CBIs 5000k are rated at 3400 lumens.
